Forsaken Fruits, find the mystery GM Event

While Guild Master Glai was training me (just so I could finally be able to Reset), a Forsaken Event Announcement flashed on the game screens:

Then suddenly, and like some drunken slackers who were about to be hit by a meteorite, everyone staged a panic to create three fruits (or nuts) after the Event Masters revealed the event requirement – fruit of agility, stamina and energy (from left to right in the picture). Just so you’ll know, it only takes a Jewel of Creation, a Jewel of Chaos and 3 million zen in the Chaos Machine to create one of the fruits but the chaos in the chaos machine is what will make it difficult to make all three kinds of fruits instantly.

The rule is to find either Sakura-GM or Laine-GM in different areas in the game. After finding either of them, you have to PM “FRUIT PARTY” before trading the three fruits.

Unfortunately (or fortunately for him) and to everyone else’ disappointment, the game was concluded when vansonDw was announced the winner after having found one of the GMs.

So the next time you find (or create) a rare item which you thought of having no use in the game, think again. You never know what will be required when the next Forsaken event will happen.

Chaos in the Chaos Machine

I lost too many jewels of bless and souls today trying to upgrade my Gaion Boots to +13 in the Chaos Machine. I managed to upgrade two boots to +12 but unfortunately, they all broke before reaching +13. Now I have to content myself to +9 until I have enough back-ups again.

Item upgrading is really simple but it takes a lot of luck (not the attribute) because you could only have as much as 45% (or 75% if the item has Luck attribute) probability of success in the chaos machine. The formula (i.e. how many blesses and souls are required for each upgrade level) has been laid out in the Forsaken Mu guide so you’ll know how frustrating it is to just have it broken on the final upgrade.

What you see in the image above is an attempt to upgrade my Gaion Storm Crow Armor to +12. With a Jewel of Chaos (gold), 3 Jewels of Bless (blue) and 3 Jewels of Soul (pink), my current Gaion Storm Crow Armor +11 had 45% chances of upgrading to +12 in the Chaos Machine.
