How would you spend your 33,000 Forsaken Mu credits?

October 30, 2008

Remember the Explosion Blade I bought from the Forsaken Mu online store? Well, I don’t have it anymore. Not because it had been broken (just like what happened to most of those who bought the same blade) but because I had it returned and refunded. An online friend tipped me that you could actually have it refunded because this Explosion Blade is bugged. Check the details on my post about it here.

I have submitted a ticket in Forsaken Mu’s Help Desk describing my problem with the bugged item and that I want to have it returned and refunded. I did it 2 nights ago and when I checked it this morning (I never had the time to check it earlier) the ticket I had submitted had been resolved and they give me a hundred percent refund on my sword. Talk about customer service, eh?

So now I’m deciding whether I would use the returned credits for buying a new Blade Knight Sword of a different Magic Gladiator Blade. Or whether I would use it to buy stats for WangBaDan the Blade Knight or for the Dark Lord that I’m planning to create.

What do you think? Help me decide please…

Back to the old Forsaken server or not

October 10, 2008

I haven’t been in the playing mood this past week due to the following reasons: (1) after the reset and upon reaching Blood Castle 6, it seems that I have been infected by some glitch rendering my Twisting Slash and Power Slash incapable of hitting any Blood Castle Mob; (2) it had been too difficult to make some decent hits on the goblin-like armored mobs in Devil Square 5; and (3) leveling in the Global Mu Online is taking all eternity.

I would have just logged in in the Forsaken to chat with some players in my Guild but the guild had been disbanded to form a new one but I haven’t seen the new Guild Master yet so I can’t contact my previous guild members one by one.

On manual repairing of your Explosion Blade (or other expensive item)

October 1, 2008

Could it be some glitch in the game or was it just another fragment of my wild imagination? Afraid that my super expensive Explosion Blade would be broken, I tried to manually repair it in the game but to my surprize, it goes down to 25 durability, pffffft!

So I had to repair it on the Forsaken Mu’s Control panel and had to pay 20,000,000 Zen, which is by the way overflowing but not so useful in the game aside from this online repair, and buying pots and item combination in the Chaos Machine. I was informed that this only happens with the Explosion Blade and not on any other expensive (or non-expensive) items from the online store.

If you happen to be a Magic Gladiator, tell your humans not to repair this sword manually during the game or he will have to regret it forever when it goes pffffft and got broken. Instead, go to your online control panel and repair it in the Character Options.

What’s more interesting is that its full durability shows 255/157. Cool, eh?
